Your account.
Your journeys.
Elsewhere stores your email, display name, password hash, login sessions, saved guides, and acquired itineraries. Passwords and session tokens are stored as hashes. Your password is never displayed to other people.
If you become a curator, your chosen curator name, profile, published guide previews, and public cover and gallery media are visible to visitors. Drafts and full itineraries are restricted to their creators, authorized administrators, and travelers with an entitlement. Media attached to full days and stops is protected by the same guide access checks.
Account data and uploaded media are stored with Cloudflare. Uploads removed from a guide may be retained with previously acquired copies. Limited rate-control counters help prevent abuse. Guide activity is recorded as daily event counts without advertising identifiers or visitor profiles.
Google sign-in and recovery email require additional provider configuration. If configured, those providers receive the information required to sign you in or deliver recovery email. AI personalization and payments are disabled for this launch. No marketing consent or newsletter subscription is required to use Elsewhere.
Use My Account to update your display name and create a private recovery key. Keep the recovery key safe; it can reset your password. Do not upload personal information about someone else without permission.
